Book Launch and Charity Photo Exhibition of Mr Ang Chin Koon (2024)
On April 20, 2024, local entrepreneur Mr. Ang Chin Koon hosted a book launch event at the Singapore Chinese Cultural Centre to unveil his captivating biography, "From Business Triumphs to Philanthropic Pursuits: The Memoir of Ang Chin Koon." This compelling narrative delves into Mr. Ang's journey through life's highs and lows, as well as his inspiring path of benevolence.
Simultaneously, Mr. Ang collaborated with esteemed artist Mr. Lin Lu Zai to produce exquisite artworks. These pieces, featuring Lin's masterful calligraphy on Mr. Ang's portraits, were prominently showcased at the event.
Coinciding with the book launch, the "Infinite Originality" photo exhibition, curated by Mr. Ang and Mr. Lin, captivated attendees. Mr. Ang's commitment to giving back was evident as he generously pledged all proceeds from the exhibition to support five charitable organisations. Notably, the Tzu-Chi Foundation (Singapore) received a substantial donation of S$500,000.
